Discover your performance potential! This performing arts workshop will use the Alexander Technique to help participants at all levels improve their abilities in singing, acting, dancing, and musicianship. The Alexander Technique is a system of mindful movement that is recognized for helping performers develop proper breathing and vocal techniques, improve postural alignment, reduce tension, and enhance performance. The workshop is led by Caitlin Freeman, a certified Alexander Technique instructor. Caitlin taught the Alexander Technique for five years at Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts, and currently practices at the UPMC Center for Integrative Medicine in Shadyside.
