Yes! All materials and tools will be provided.

Do I need sewing experience to participate?

Accepted Answer

Nope! We aim to make all workshops as beginner friendly as possible and this is no exception. Leah will be present to guide you through learning the basic stitches needed to make the mittens. That being said, if you have sewing experience already that's not a problem either!

How long is the workshop?

The workshop will last approximately 2 hours.

What will I make in this workshop?

Accepted Answer

You'll use up-cycled sections of wool sweaters to make a pair of mittens, with liner or as is.(Please note due to the time constraints of the workshop some participants may only be able to finish 1 of the 2 mittens, we will provide instructions on how to finish them at home.)

Question 5

What tools/materials will I be using?

Accepted Answer

You'll be using an embroidery needle, fabric scissors, craft cord and pieces of wool harvested from used sweaters.

Is there parking?

There is some paid street parking in front of the studio, as well as free parking along Neville park nearby. All parking is first come first serve.
