Marine pollution, overfishing, habitat destruction and rising sea temperatures are just some of the threats that our oceans suffer from. It is time for the technological minds to think about solving these challenges to ensure sustainable growth. Towards this end, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Victoria, in collaboration with Coast Capital Innovation Centre, IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society and Ocean Startup Project and COAST, present the &#x27;UVic Ocean Challenge Event&#x27;.
