Valkyrie Fundraiser - Euchre Tournament

Join us for our Euchre tournament fundraiser! Whether you're a seasoned euchre pro or in it for the fun, come play in support of the team.

Event Overview

Join us for a fun and fast-paced euchre tournament fundraiser in support of our ladies softball team! The evening is designed to keep things social, competitive, and moving - whether you’re a seasoned player or just here for a good time.

Tickets

Tickets are $25 each person. Please e-transfer your fee to your Valkyrie connection or directly to valkyrie.softball2024@gmail.com with the note 'Euchre'. Tickets are not being charged directly on this site as you would be required to pay a service fee. Please also bring cash (or loonies) for the Loonie Euchre Pot (see below). We will have change at the venue.

If you choose to purchase an add-on for loonies, they will be given to you at the door.

Arrival & Start Time

Please begin arriving at 6:00 PM to check in and grab a drink. The first hand will be played at 6:30 PM, once everyone has had a chance to settle in.

Tournament Format

• The tournament will consist of 10 rounds; each round is 8 hands
• You will not have the same partner all night - partners and tables rotate based on wins and losses
• If time gets tight, we will call last hand to keep things running smoothly

Prizes

There will be two prizes awarded at the end of the evening:

• Most points accumulated throughout the night
• Most lone hands played during the tournament

Loonie Euchre Pot 💰

Please bring your loonies! Any time you and your partner get euchered, you must both put a loonie into the cup. At the end of the night:

• 50% of the pot will be donated to Valkyrie
• 50% will go to the player with the most lone hands

Bar Information 🍻

There will be a bar available at the event for your enjoyment. Please note that bar proceeds do not go toward the fundraiser.
