Two VCC events (Research Day, and the Teaching & Learning Symposium) are combined into a single event this year.

<h2>THEME: Change Is the Only Constant: Sharing Experiences of Teaching, Learning, and Research in Times of Disruption</h2>This is a public event open to those who are both internal and external to Vancouver Community College. The symposium will be delivered completely online. Registration is free. The Zoom webinar link will be provided to registered attendees.The event will take place over two days (Vancouver time zone): February 25, 9:00am - 3:45pm February 26, 9:00am - 2:30pm<h3>Keynote Address: Dr. Judit Hahn</h3>Re-imagining Online Learning Communities with Equity, Creativity, and CareDr. Judit Hahn is a Senior University Lecturer in the Department of Languages at University of Jyväskylä, Finland. She holds a PhD in Language Sciences, an MA in English, an MA in Sociology, as well as an MBA. She has recently received several awards for the development of blended learning and e-learning collaborations at her institution. Her research interests include virtual student exchange programs, social and emotional presence in e-learning, digital literacies for working life, and language policy.
