Vertical Farming Bootcamp

Ripple Farms Inc. is a vertical farming enterprise located in the City of Toronto. Our purpose is to reconnect urban populations with food by engaging people through hands-on workshops and educational material. Our aim is to tackle food security one meal at a time. With our systems, there is no longer a need to have produced shipped thousands of kilometers when we can produce it right here on Canadian soil.

Seneca College Newnham Campus

Our Vertical Farming Bootcamp will deep dive into the rapidly evolving vertical farming and aquaponics industry and the technology behind it. The course will focus on the science of growing plants in controlled environments and how operational and design efficiency of aquaponics and hydroponics systems can be maximized for production and profitability. Through a series of hands-on modules, participants will experience innovative technologies and business models to better understand a path to profitability in urban agriculture and controlled environment agriculture.
Lunch will be provided for participants. 
This workshop is held in partnership with Seneca College's Faculty of Continuing Education.
