Virtual Information Session – Free 9-week Cybersecurity Training Program

Interested in a Career in Cybersecurity? Join our virtual Information Session to learn about CultureLink’s 9-Week Cybersecurity Training Program designed for newcomers with IT backgrounds.

This program helps participants prepare for the Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate while building in-demand skills for today’s technology workforce. The participants will also learn technical skills to protect IT infrastructures, gain knowledge in the four domains of cybersecurity and network with industry professionals and IT employers.

Eligibility Criteria:

Newcomers in Ontario with one of the following immigration statuses:

• Permanent Resident (family sponsorship)
• Permanent Resident in Economic Class who received Confirmation of Permanent Residence within the past six years (relative to the program end date)
• Convention Refugee/ protected Person
• Post-secondary education in IT or a related field

Minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB):

• Level 7 or higher

And:

• Be a resident of the GTA area
