Virtual conference focusing on the SECM work of PhD students and PDFs

In the optic of offering an opportunity for young researchers to highlight their work and seek good networking, we are proposing a virtual conference focusing on SECM. To get the best out of this conference, a perspective article highlighting the presented work will be published in the Journal of the Electrochemical Society (JES). Schedule:

10 am: Introduction

10h05- 10h20: In Situ Characterization of Oxidative State Neuron under Heat Stress using Scanning Electrochemical Microscope . Junjie Zhang, Xi'an Jiaotong University, PI: Fei Li

10h20-10h35: Fabrication and Characterization of Micro Optical Ring Electrodes for Biological and Non-Biological Applications. Nikita Maria Thomas, University of Manitoba, PI: Sabine Kuss

10h35-10h50: Revealing the Effects of Antimicrobial Agents on E. Coli Biofilm by using Soft-Probe Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy. Darvishi Sorour, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, PI: Hubert Girault

10h50-11h05: SECM Applied on Localized pH Measurements in Biological Samples. Jéssica Selva, University of São Paulo, PI: Mauro Bertotti

11h05-11h20: Scanning Gel Electrochemical Microscopy: Attempts to improve the gel probes. Gustavo Echeveste, U. de Lorraine, PI: Liang Liu

11h20-11h35: The Influence of the Oxygen Reduction Reaction on Pt oxide Electrochemistry. Oliver Rodriguez, University of Southampton, PI: Guy Denuault

11h35-11h50: SECM for the Operando Characterization of Silver Oxide Nanocubes Electrosynthesis by Nano-Impact Electrochemistry. Mathias Miranda Vieira, Université de Paris, PIs: Jean-Marc Noël and Frédéric Kanoufi

11h50-12h05: Feedback-mode and AC-SECM for probing ionic and electronic properties of the SEI in Li-ion batteries. Carla Santana Santos, Ruhr University Bochum, PI: Wolfgang Schuhmann

12h05-12h20: Using SECM to visualize SEI Evolution on Lithium Metal. Bastian Krueger, University of Oldenburg, PI: Gunther Wittstock

12h20- : Closing

We believe this event is a great opportunity for young researchers to highlight their work and seek good networking. We really look forward to seeing you at the event. *Please register with your University/Affiliation email
