NAfro celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2022, and in those years they’ve been establishing themselves as Winnipeg’s most dynamic dance sensation. Setting itself apart from other dance companies in Winnipeg. NAfro thrills audiences with various dance and music dynamics with thought-provoking themes.

Gas Station Art Centre

WAKATI, meaning Time in Swahili language, is a new production that will be presented at the Gas Station Arts Centre on March 3rd, 4th,and 5th2023. 
This production explores how to find and build inner strength in difficult times. “As the world spins faster, it creates unbalanced moments within and without. Moments that can bring pain and wounds. However, we cannot always wait for time to stop the pain or heal the wounds. But, within the spine of the world we need to find strength to keep our balance and move on, because time cannot heal all wounds.” -CN-
WAKATI it is a collaborative work featuring two new works created by Egyptian choreographer Mohamed El Sayed and NAfro’s Casimiro Nhussi.
