Short film and sculpture unveiling connected to the history of the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital

Humber College students and members from Among Friends Community Mental Health Program collaborated on a commemorative artwork based on the history of the Humber Lakeshore campus, a former psychiatric hospital. A short film about the project, 1511, will be screened followed by discussion and the unveiling of a commissioned sculpture in memory of the former patients by Rocky Dobey.ASL; Live Captioning; Accessible Venue; Attendant Care Co-hosted by the Humber College VADA Program, Among Friends Community Mental Health Program, the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre, and Toronto Biennial of Art.
