Introduction to Knowledge Translation Evaluation

About Anne:

Anne is an evaluation and knowledge mobilization consultant. Anne spends her time helping academic, nonprofit, and government groups create evaluation frameworks and tools that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. Anne has particular experience in collaborative evaluation, and in evaluating knowledge mobilization (KMb) and knowledge translation and transfer (KTT) initiatives.

Anne is the Director of Knowledge to Action Consulting.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define basic evaluation terms (e.g., activity, output, outcome, impact; process and outcome evaluation).

  • Discuss how evaluation can be used across the KT project lifecycle (from planning to impact).

  • Identify barriers and enablers of KT evaluation.
