WestFestYEG is for everyone! It is a community festival open to residents of all ages and backgrounds. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day of celebration.

What should I bring to WestFestYEG?

Accepted Answer

We recommend preparing for rain or shine. Packsunscreen, a raincoat or umbrella (in case of inclement weather), and a chair or blanket to sit on. Don't forget to bring your ticket confirmation and a food bank donation!

How should we get to WestFestYEG? Where can I park?

Parking is extremely limited, so we highly recommend alternative forms of transportation such as walking, biking, or using public transit. Check our website for information on transit options. Limited street parking is available, but please be mindful of the community and follow parking regulations.

Is smoking and/or cannabis consumption permitted at WestFestYEG?

Smoking and cannabis consumption are not permitted within the festival grounds. Please adhere to the designated smoking areas and respect the comfort of fellow attendees.

What forms of payment are accepted at WestFestYEG?

Accepted Answer

Most vendors at WestFestYEG accept cash and some may offer card payment options. However, it's always a good idea to bring some cash with you, especially for smaller purchases.

Are there fireworks at WestFestYEG?

Unfortunately, fireworks are not part of the WestFestYEG program. However, there will be plenty of other exciting activities and entertainment to enjoy throughout the day.

Yes. There will also be food trucks on site and beer gardens that food and beverage can be purchased from.

Are pets allowed at WestFestYEG?

There is a temporary off-leash dog park in the south east corner or Webber Greens Park. While dogs are allowed in the park on a leash, they are NOT permitted on sports fields or in playgrounds.  The primary festival site is located on a sports field so please refrain from bringing your dogs to that

WestFestYEG offers open seating, so you can bring your own chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the performances. Please be mindful of others and ensure you have a clear view without obstructing anyone's experience.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own chair or blanket to WestFestYEG for seating during the performances. Make sure to choose portable and lightweight options for your convenience.

Yes, there will be restroom facilities conveniently located on the west side of the festival grounds (near Michael Phair). Please follow the signage and directions provided on-site.

WestFestYEG is a family-friendly event open to attendees of all ages. The Brewhouse Beer Gardens area will be restricted to 18+.

While personal cameras and recording devices are allowed for personal use, professional photography and videography equipment requires prior authorization from WestFestYEG organizers. Please contact us for more information.

No, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted at WestFestYEG. However, there will be licensed beer gardens where you can enjoy a variety of alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
