Join us for a morning outside to use the gear and practice the skills needed for a wonderful winter overnight trip. This is a hands-on workshop, where you get to play with all the toys, or bring your own to practice with.We’ll try our hands at erecting SHELTERS including:<ul><li>hot tents with wood stoves</li><li>winter tents</li><li>snow shelters</li><li>tarps</li></ul>We’ll talk about FOOD and cook some winter camping meals.We’ll try different TRANSPORTATION including:<ul><li>pulks and sleighs</li><li>snowshoes</li><li>skis and climbing skins</li></ul>Finally we’ll talk about SAFETY and risks, and equipment you should have on hand.This event is for absolute beginners and experienced backcountry adventurers.9 a.m. to noon in St Boniface
