This will be a fun and friendly small-group workshop for women mountain bikers in Bristol and beyond.
Learn how to use your bodyweight to grow stronger, boosting confidence on the bike and building a strong body position to hit the trails.
You will will cover a number of key areas including: Warm Up - Basic Mobility Drills - Single Leg Exercises - Squats - Upper Body - Core.
The workshop will last about 4.5 hours including a couple of breaks and will be taught by professional MTB strength coach, Ben Plenge. It is a practical workshop with plenty of opportunity to practice the exercises as individuals and as a group. This will not be a beasting though - there is no need to be scared! It will be inclusive of different ages and abilities and will be run in a well equipped and friendly gym with plenty of space to move and learn.
You will leave feeling confident that you know how to train safely to build your strength, both for mountain biking and for general life. Ever wanted to be able to do full press ups, deep squats or even pull ups? Ben will show you how to get there safely.
