Women's Coding Workshops: Wordpress Basics

Sudo is a Kingstonian initiative with the focus on creating a collaborative and passionate tech community where women can learn to code together. We believe programming is a skill everyone should have, and it's our mission to offer and encourage the women of Kingston into learning these skills.

This workshop will be lead by Max Sadlowski of <A HREF="https://www.bentosmb.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BentoSMB</A>, and is offered in partnership with <A HREF="https://www.innovatekingston.ca/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Innovate Kingston</A>.
In this workshop, we’ll cover the basics of developing a website using <A HREF="https://wordpress.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wordpress</A>. This interactive and collaborative workshop will allow you to develop your own custom webpage, with help from Sudo's volunteer mentors. No previous programming experience is required for this workshop. 
Our workshops target women, but people of all genders are welcome. Please bring a charged laptop. Refreshments will be provided!
