Join us for a hands-on prototype of a workshop exploring VGA hacking with CUCCR & CRT.

VGA Hacking Prototype with CUCCR &amp; CRTDo you have a ton of old VGA screens around that you’ll never use? Do you want to make them into something useful — or at least something interesting? In this workshop, we’ll cover 2 ways to hack your old VGA screen into a cool art piece, and learn a bit about old tech too!In part 1, we will disassemble a VGA screen together to see how it works and what parts can be re-used. In part 2, we will attach a microcontroller (Arduino) to a VGA screen so you can learn to control it yourself. Please bring a laptop to code on, and an Arduino if you have one (we will have a few on hand). We’ll bring the VGA monitors! No specific experience needed, but an understanding of electronics helps.This is a prototype of a workshop to be run later, so we welcome your feedback and thoughts throughout the process.
