Where is the theatre located?

Assembly Theatre is located in Toronto, at 1479 Queen St. W., on the south side of Queen St. W., just west of Lansdowne Ave.

Is the theatre accessible?

Unfortunately, the theatre is not fully accessible. There are a few stairs going down into the main lobby area, when entering from the street, and a few more stairs when entering the performance space.

Where can I park?

There is limited free parking on the side streets near the theatre. There is also paid street parking on both Queen St. W. and Lansdowne Ave., as well as Green P lots located at 695 Lansdowne Ave. and 1325 Queen St. W.

How do I get there by TTC?

Please plan your route on any of the TTC apps, according to your starting location. The streetcar runs in both directions on Queen St. W. and a bus runs along Lansdowne Ave. from Lansdowne Station. Please allow adequate time to account for construction and transit delays.

What is the running time of the show?

The show runs approximately 70 minutes in length but each performance will be slightly different. That's the nature of live theatre.

Will there be an intermission?

No. Please monitor your fluid intake accordingly and be sure to use the washroom facilities before the start of the play.

Will tickets be available at the door?

Accepted Answer

Tickets will only be available at the door if we haven't sold out online, so it's best to secure your tickets in advance in order to avoid disappointment. Door tickets will be cash or e-transfer only.

Will there be reserved seating?

All tickets are general admission. There will be no assigned seating. Tickets are on a first come first served basis. If you require accessible seating, please contact us, after having purchased your ticket, and we will reserve a seat for you.

Can I receive a refund for my ticket, if I am unable to attend?

This is a limited run. Tickets non-refundable, but are transferable. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to transfer your ticket to a friend and consider the purchase price to be a donation to our fledgling theatre group.

Is the play suitable for all ages?

Accepted Answer

This play is recommended for ages 14+. Parental discretion strongly advised -- this is a George F. Walker production, after all.
