Calling all Tree Huggers! Join us for a special Earth Day writing workshop led by BWG Artist in Residence Dr. Jill Price.

Workshops Series: We Are Forest

Join Artist in Residence Jill Price to help co-create We Are Forest, a community art installation that explores human interconnections with trees.

Trees are generous beings that nourish and protect our shared ecosystems. Stemming from her paper leaves and window poetry art installation entitled We Are Forest, Dr. Jill Price will offer an interactive writing workshop on Earth Day 2026 that honours the vital importance of forests and trees.Under the author's guidance, participants will have the opportunity to try writing to the past, present, and future while taking into consideration their memories, knowledge and current interactions with trees and plants.Blossoming or experienced writers may also take the opportunity to write a letter to someone in a position of power to take action to protect Ontario forests.All materials provided.
