No experience or equipment needed - open to all ages! Tune in for some fun, active, online fitness! The International Wrongful Convictions Day Committee is proud to offer interactive and engaging virtual fitness sessions by donation. PLUS: when you register and attend at least one of the sessions you will be entered in a draw for a 3 month membership to Total Fitness in Langely, British Columbia. Session Times/Dates: <ul><li>Wednesday August 11th at 7AM PST/ 10AM EST led by Lesley Maisey </li><li>Saturday August 14th at 2PM PST/5PM EST led by Chloe Tryhane </li><li>Tuesday August 17th at 2PM PST/5PM EST led by Payten Smith</li><li>Friday August 20th at 2pm PST/5pm EST led by Payten Smith </li></ul>Instructor Information: <ul><li>Lesley Maisey (RN, BSN, COHN(C), MA) is an occupational health nurse, consult, educator and specialist for disability case management. She focuses on endurance and loves to swim, bike, and run. </li><li>Payten Smith is a past Canadian National Team member who competed for over 10 years in the sport of freestyle wrestling. As a past heavyweight wrestler, Payten centres her workouts around inclusivity, meaning that they are adapted to suit the needs or level of fitness to those who participate.</li><li>Chloe Tryhane is an online fitness coach who is passionate about helping others accomplish their goals and seeing their mental and physical progress. </li></ul><ul></ul>Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and wear appropriate workout attire which allows for movement (sweatpants, shorts, etc.). A mat, such as a yoga mat, would be beneficial to the workout but is not a requirement. For experienced folks, feel free to bring resistance bands/weights to adapt certain exercises to increase the level of difficulty. To ensure a safe workout, we encourage participants to turn on their cameras if they feel comfortable so the instructor may check-in with your posture and movement during the session.
