Learn how to cook up some simple & delicious dishes one week at a time! In partnership with Youth Assisting Youth. Registration is $5 per session, or $10 for both weeks.
To register for both sessions at once, please select March 9th on the calendar and select the "Both Sessions" ticket type.
For single session tickets, please select the date you would like to attend on the calendar and select the "One Session" ticket type.
Each week will feature a different topic, and topics will be updated as they are confirmed:
- Mon Mar 9: Spinach Bowtie Pasta (from scratch) and Roasted Chickpeas, presented by Anthony
- Mon Mar 16: Coconut Curry Chickpeas with Rice & Plantain, presented by Kimesha
This program is recommended for grades 7-12.
For participants that are part of Youth Assisting Youth's mentorship program, please register through Youth Assisting Youth.
The room capacity is limited. All individuals planning to be inside the kitchen during the program must be registered as a participant. This includes any adult accompanying a child. Please contact the VMC service desk if you have questions.
We are a nut-aware space and do not use nuts in our programming, but we cannot guarantee a nut-free facility. Please alert us of any allergies when registering on Eventbrite. Our kitchen programs are held in the VSES Teaching Kitchen, located on the third floor.
