It is important to us to set patients up with long term success. We want to give patients the education and tools needed to empower them and to continue for years to come for health benefits.Acumen Reconditioning offers face to face sessions as well as telehealth sessions. We believe this is a way to deliver health services, expertise and information to patients in need and who want to continue or start their health journey. Telehealth is an efficient way to eliminate barriers that may affect patient care.

Join Acumen Performance team members Whitney and Chris. They will be taking you through an at home HITT workout. Learn to move from the comfort of your own living room, bedroom, kitchen or garage. Follow along, Whitney and Chris will workout with you. Follow us and let’s challenge each other together.This will include:5 minute Dynamic Warmup20 minute Bodyweight Circuit5 minute Cool down/stretchThe Acumen Clinic Approach:Sports Therapy and Personal Training- Improve your ability to move and lift properly- Create fun and healthy lifelong habits- Fitness.recovery.performance.- We want clients and patients to learn the tools to successfully train and become the best version of themselves

Chris Sharkey, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Conditioning CoachChris comes to the Acumen Reconditioning team with enthusiasm, keenness, knowledge and experience. As an athlete, Chris experienced the benefit and rewards provided by a personal trainer/coach himself. Chris played competitive hockey and worked his way throughout his career at the AAA, JR.A, and WHL levels. He understands the steps needed during this important journey to get to the “next level” and ensures maintenance of high-level performance.

Whitney Dikoume, Athletic TherapistWhitney comes from a very athletic family and she knew from a young age that she wanted to be involved in sport whether it was as an athlete or as a medical staff. She was heavily involved in soccer until an injury when she was in her early teens, disrupted her path. After recovering from it, she was heavily fascinated by how people would get season ending injuries and sometimes come back even better than they were before. This was one of the reasons why she decided to study Kinesiology and major in athletic therapy.
