<h1>I﻿n-Person Event</h1><p>Imagine a world of curious and collaborative changemakers engaged in creative action to solve social problems. Imagine a more equitable, healthy and sustainable world. If you’re looking for ways to contribute, the Youth Changemaker Summit can help you chart the path. </p><p>You'll meet youth leaders and purpose-driven entrepreneurs from the Halton and Peel regions and have the chance to hear their stories, be inspired by their courage, and learn from their growth. You, too, can help build organizations and initiatives that create change, even while balancing school, work and other activities.</p>

<h1>Prizes </h1><p><em>Early Bird Prizes: Register by October 17 to enter an early bird draw for</em>  </p><ol><li>A pair of <strong>Apple AirPods  </strong></li><li><strong>15 EDGE Swag bags</strong> containing – tote bags, lunch bags, notebooks, pens, mints, post-it notes and screen cleaners.  </li></ol><p><em>Other Prizes: Summit attendees will also have the chance to win 10 prizes, including  </em></p><ol><li><strong>5 packs</strong> of the ‘Live You Values’ deck of cards  </li><li><strong>5 Changemaker Gift packs</strong> created with gifts from Sheridan, EDGE, and other incubators like IDEA, ICUBE and more and our alums entrepreneurs valued at up to $100. </li></ol><p>The Summit is hosted by Sheridan EDGE and proudly supported by RBC Future Launch. EDGE is a launchpad for social ventures at Sheridan College that supports purpose-driven entrepreneurs and changemakers with mentorship, expertise and funding as they develop solutions to community challenges.</p>

<h2>What to Expect</h2><p>“<em>We who have gathered together are responsible that our cycle continues. We have been given the duty to live in harmony with one another and other living things</em>.”</p><p>We’ll begin the evening by joining Prof. Skahendowaneh Swamp in the Ohén:ton Karihwatéhkwen - ‘the words that are spoken before all others’ (known in English as Thanksgiving Address). Prof. Skahendowaneh is a highly respected Mohawk (Wolf Clan) Faith-keeper from Akwesasne. We start this way to get everyone in a good mind to work together. </p><p>We'll work in small groups to explore the values that matter most to us individually and as a community. You'll hear from a panel of inspiring social entrepreneurs and understand the journeys of youth like you who have launched projects to benefit their communities. </p>

<h1>A﻿genda</h1><ol><li>5:30 - 6:00 pm: Registration and booth exploration.   </li><li>6:00 pm: Welcome and introduction</li><li>6:10 - 6:30 pm: Indigenous opening ceremony and thanksgiving address by Skahendowaneh, Senior Lecturer and Chair of Indigenous Knowledge, Indigenous Studies, Wolf Clan Faithkeeper and an official Mohawk Faith keeper. </li><li>6:30 – 6:40pm: Welcome remarks from RBC</li><li>6:45 - 7:50 pm: Living Your Values Interactive Activity &amp; Group Reflection </li><li>7:50 – 8:15 pm: Panel discussion with graduates from our Social Impact Catalyst powered by RBC Future Launch program</li><li>8:15 - 8:20 pm: Closing ceremony by Skahendowaneh.</li><li>8:20 – 8:30 pm: Prizes, giveaways and networking.</li></ol>
