Not sure how to prune your trees? Afraid that you will do more harm than good? Join YYC Trees for a free online program on the Pruning Basics. In this 45 min - 1 hour program you will learn about why you need to prune, the best time of year to do your pruning and the best tools to use to keep your tree happy and healthy for many years to come. Still have questions? Don’t worry! There will be a half hour at the end of the program for Question and Answer period with a ISA certified Calgary Parks Urban Forest Technician. The program will be hosted on-line via Microsoft Teams and program link will be emailed to participants two days prior to the program date. All materials will be listed and available to be downloaded prior to the start of the program.
