Ben Dawson has been researching genealogy for over 25 years. A hobby that was initially introduced by his grandfather, has now grown to a lifelong passion which he enjoys sharing and teaching others.

With a strong technical background, Ben has been able to utilize various techniques, technologies, and resources to advance both his own personal family tree and his knowledge and application of genealogical techniques and strategies.

Ben has also taken a keen interest in the introduction of genetic genealogy. Having done his own DNA test in 2013, he has discovered many useful techniques in using this ground-breaking technology to further his genealogical research and break down brick walls.
