Survivor Wellness

Survivor Wellness is dedicated to improving wellbeing and quality of life for Cancer Survivors, their families and caregivers - from the moment of diagnosis throughout their lifetime - by providing Survivors with personal support and integrative health care programming & services at free- or reduced-fee rates in a welcoming, home-like environment.

Significant investments in cancer research has resulted in a dramatic increase in the number of patients surviving their cancer diagnosis. However, the rapid growth of individuals surviving their cancer diagnosis, has resulted in suboptimal integrative care during and after cancer treatment. According to the National Cancer Institute (2014), this situation has created an urgent need for strategies that address cancer survivorship.

 To fill this gap, Survivor Wellness delivers free and reduced cost programs to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and family members. Programs and services include counseling and support groups, massage therapy, acupuncture and eastern medicine practices, yoga & movement, mindfulness & meditation, and more.

SURVIVORS AT THE SUMMIT is our free signature fundraising event, held each summer at Snowbird Resort with attendance capped at 500, consisting of a Pancake Breakfast, The Journey to the Summit (on foot, by bike, or via the tram - tram ticket included with registration), lunch at the summit, and the Celebration of Life Ceremony with Tribute Flags. An unforgettable experience for all participants to rise to the summit to pay tribute to the courage and determination of those affected by a cancer diagnosis - survivors, their caregivers, family members, loved ones and friends - and to honor the memory of lives lost to cancer.
