Carina Stone and Caitlin Strom

Caitlin Strom has been practicing meditation and studying Buddhism for over a decade. She has studied with teachers in the Vipassana, Tibetan, and Zen traditions, and has received teacher training from Shambhala and the Interdependence Project in New York. Caitlin met Michael Stone four years ago and since 2015 has been working closely with him as part of his mentorship program.  She has assisted Michael in teaching meditation on silent retreats and workshops, and also works with students one-on-one.  She currently lives in Chicago with her husband Nathan and their dog Basho.

Carina Stone has been engaging in meditation practices and the spirit of contemplative inquiry for a decade. She was part of the Centre of Gravity community in Toronto led by her late partner Michael Stone. A mix of Vipassana and Zen practices have shaped her path, as well as the daily mindfulness training of raising a young family. Carina lives in British Columbia with her two, soon to be three children.
