New Beginnings Psychotherapy

Delano Burnett is Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran. He is a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Counselling of Psychotherapy Association. He has trained combat troops over the years. He has a Master of Arts Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University, a Post-Graduate Research Certificate from Georgian College, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from McMaster University. He also holds a Project Management Professional certification from Project Management Institute. Delano provides a safe and supportive environment to process your trauma, heal from the wounds, and empower yourself to move forward with strength, self-compassion, and renewed hope. He has specialized training in trauma and strength-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Schema Focused Therapy. Delano works with diverse client communities, including BIPOC, Couples/Partners, Families, Men, LGBTQ2A+, Military Veterans and First Responders.
