Studio Y

Studio [Y] is an experiment in the future of work & learning with a unique model of education, employment, and engagement for young people.

We develop learners, leaders, and innovators committed to building an equitable, thriving, and sustainable world. Our Fellows are selected based on character, come from radically diverse backgrounds, and offer one another a wide range of skills, perspectives, and experiences.

We invite them to learn critical 21st century skills, build their networks, develop their innovative ideas, and work on real-world challenges with partners across business, government, and community sectors.

They work out of MaRS Discovery District, Canada’s largest innovation hub, which is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the world’s most multicultural city.

Simply put, Studio [Y] is a learning, leadership, and innovation hub for young people rooted in one question: What bold possibilities might be realized when you bring together a group of amazing young people, give them the resources and supports they need, and put them on a mission to build a better future?
