The OSA Speed Challenge (Pistol) Championship is open to OSA members, OSA affiliate members and guests who are qualified. You can be qualified by having taken the Speed Challenge Clinic, by having participated in Speed Challenge Practices training, by having competed in the Speed Challenge matches, by being qualified in IPSC or IDPA.
You are required to wear a long-sleeved high-collar shirt, slacks (not shorts), a ballcap, close-toed shoes, protective eyewear (and electronic ear defenders, as always).
This practice day will focus on workups for the matches that'll be held on the 600m range (pistol range in the butts). You can download the match descriptions and layouts at at www.osacanada.ca at the bottom of the Events page.
Ammunition must be commercial or full-power handloads, and must be proven safe in your pistol; you'll need about 250 rounds.

Check in at the butts of the 600m range at 0830. You'll be required to sign a liability waiver. You may be asked for proof of club membership. Mandatory safety briefing starts at 0845. If you are not present for the safety briefing, you will not be able to participate.
If you haven't been to an OSA event before, email lindamilcun@gmail.com for detailed instructions. You must have shooter's liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e., you must be a member of the CSSA, CCFR, NFA, or similar. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.
Note that we no longer allow photographs to be taken on MilCun property.
