It is wonderful that so many people are excited to hear Dr. Gabor Maté speak in Chilliwack at the Local Action Teams upcoming event on March 3rd! Thank you to SD33 for offering the Chilliwack Secondary School venue for use, allowing us to double our original capacity to over 750 attendees!

Please note that ALL tickets are now SOLD OUT and NO additional tickets will be available before the event. The Resource Expo and check-in begins at 4pm. Ticket holders must be in line by 6pm with their $10 minimum donation to the Chilliwack Youth Health Centre to claim their seat. All unclaimed ticket reservations will be cancelled at 6pm and the ticket will be released on a first come first served basis.

Out of respect and courtesy for the students and staff at Chilliwack Secondary School, we ask that you do not attend the site prior to 4pm.

$10.00 minimum donation at the door (cash only). Ticket sales will be donated to the Chilliwack Youth Health Centre (CYHC). The CYHC offers free medical and mental health services to individuals aged 12-26. www.chilliwackyhc.com

Depression, Anxiety and Addictions from a New Perspective

For all our progress in understanding and treating mental illness, it continues to be a subject of misapprehension, prejudice and stigmatization. Very few families are not touched by at least some aspects of mental dysfunction. This talk will explore the causes and "normality" of depression, anxiety and addictions in our society.

What if tickets are sold out?
Those who have purchased a ticket must be in line by 6pm with a minimum $10 cash donation in order to claim their seat, after which all remaining seats will be released to the first come, first served line.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
YES. To guarantee your seat, you must bring by in line with your ticket by 6pm. After 6pm, the remaining seats are available for walk ins.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes, one paid ticket represents one seat. Donation payable at the door for entry.

Are books available to purchase?
Yes, books will be available before and after the talk, with a book signing following the presentation.
