We are grateful to have Robyn Roper and her colleagues presenting at our Biomedical group on the topic of "Anat Baniel Method - A Neuromovement Approach for children with special needs"
Robyn Roper is an ABM practitioner since 2015
Enrolled in Children's Mastery (2016)
To contact Robyn e-mail: robyn.roper@shaw.ca
Robyn is also a mom of a special needs child who has been doing ABM for 4 years.
The Anat Baniel Method is a science-based, breakthrough approach that focuses on the child's brain and its abilities to change and learn. The method's gentle movements and ABM's Nine Essentials are tools that allow special needs children to overcome their limitiation by creating new connections that lead to improvements in movement, thinking, self-regulation and connection with others.
Robyn and her colleagues will explain us what the method is about and how the Nine Essentials principles, in which it is rooted, provide the brain with information to organize new skills at all ages.
