How to Make Red Lentil Dal with Gabriela

Preparing meals can be stressful as a student with time and money constraints. The busy student lifestyle makes it more difficult to plan nutritious AND budget friendly meals. For these reasons, this food skill workshop aims to provide an opportunity for students to develop the skills and confidence needed to plan and cook healthy, inexpensive meals. Whether you are new to cooking or have years of experience, this workshop is for you**!

In this student-led workshop you will follow the instructions for one of our pre-selected recipes through Zoom, cooking from the comfort of your own kitchen. You provide the kitchen tools and we will provide all the ingredients!

Location: via Zoom (from the comfort of your own kitchen)

What we’ll make together: Red Lentil Dal

What you’ll need (borrow from someone if you need to!):

• Cutting board
• Knife
• Measuring Cups and Spoons
• Two medium-large pots
• Bowl
• Stove-top

**READ THIS - VERY IMPORTANT**

If you do not pick up your package by 4:00pm on October 27th, we will be donating your ingredient package to the the Student Pantry. Unfortunately, because these workshops are free, we have had issues with students not picking up their package, and this takes the spot away from another student that would have followed through. We understand that life happens, so if you know before the end of your pick-up deadline that you cannot participate, please cancel your registration earlier so we can open your spot up to another student on the waitlist. This gives them more time to pick up their package. THANK YOU!!!
