Mr. Joe Comer has spent over 42 years designing and producing a wide variety of vessels, both commercial and military, within shipyard organizations and as the senior principal of the Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering design firm, Ship Architects, Inc. Currently, he is serving as the President of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME).

Keynote: Digital Shipbuilding Transformation. Wednesday

Rick Spaulding is Vice president, Central Planning and Process Excellence, for Ingalls Shipbuilding. In this role Rick is responsible for all planning, scheduling and process improvement activities at Ingalls. This includes plan and schedule development for all product lines, build strategy development, production control, production and industrial engineering, labor resource and capacity planning.

Lynn Allen
Autodesk Technical Evangelist, speaks to more than 30,000 users worldwide each year. She has written Cadalyst’s "Circles and Lines" column since 1993 and is the creator of Cadalyst’s popular AutoCAD video tips. She began using AutoCAD software with Release 1.4 more than 20 years ago and taught at the corporate and collegiate levels for 13 years before joining Autodesk. A sought-after public speaker with a unique comedic style, she is the host of Autodesk University and always one of the event’s highest-rated speakers. SSI USA is the American subsidiary of SSI, an international company providing Autodesk based solutions to the shipbuilding and offshore industry. SSI in Spanish Latin American (SSI in SLA) offers shipbuilding software solutions for design, analysis, production and collaboration. These solutions are based on 20 years’ experience selling, supporting and training clients on software for the industry. The programs that SSI in SLA sells and supports provide engineers, naval architects, yacht designers and shipbuilders a complete set of tools for all stages in shipbuilding, from the design process to the construction of all types of vessels. NDAR/Design Systems & Technologies is the SSI Senior Partner ENEA. NDAR manages ShipConstructor activities in close coordination with CADMatch in the Benelux, with Marine Technologies in the CEI / Poland / Ukraine, and with Vera Navis in Iberia and West Africa. Nick Danese, founder and manager, has represented SSI since 1991. NDAR also represents other software companies in the Naval Architecture and Ship Design & Production fields complementing ShipConstructor's tool set. Ingalls Shipbuilding is located in Pascagoula, Miss. on 800 acres of land along the Pascagoula River. InnovMarine Inc. is the representative for SSI products and services across Canada. The company’s president, Pierre-Charles Drapeau, is a naval architecture technologist with extensive knowledge of how to apply Autodesk solutions including SSI’s ShipConstructor software to maximize productivity. In addition to his work with InnovMarine Inc., he currently serves in the Naval Reserve of the Royal Canadian Navy as a Marine Engineer System Operator. Pierre-Charles is widely known to leaders in Canada’s maritime construction industry as he was a principal organizer of the Canadian Conference on Modern Shipbuilding, held to discuss the Canadian Government’s National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy. He has been active in SNAME since his time as a student at the Institut Maritime du Québec and in 2014, he was elected as SNAME’s Chair of the Eastern Canadian section.
