Beer sommelier bios

Jordan Trustham is a Certified Cicerone (Beer Sommelier). Jordan lives in Vancouver with his fiancee and dog and is passionate about craft beer, wine, and spirits, and is often found adventuring in the backcountry wilds of BC on skis, boots, and bikes. He has been a homebrewer for 20 years since his basement brewing days as a student at the University of Victoria. His beer is better these days.  He can be found by day as the Virtual Tour Coordinator and Lead Tour Guide for Canadian Craft Tours.  By night he scouts for new and interesting brews in Vancouver and across Canada. Jordan's favorite beer is all of them, shared with great folks!

Zach Warrick is a Prud'Homme Certified Beer Sommelier. He is passionate about good beer, good stories, and sharing those two things with good people! By day he is a Business Development Manager at Brandt Meats selling Charcuterie, Ham, and Kolbassa to the masses while his evenings are spent leading virtual beer tours. He lives in Toronto, Ontario with his wife and dog and you will catch all three of them exploring various craft breweries on weekends.

Speaker bio

Louis Savard, C.E.T., PMP, is the program leader of the RiverLabs branch of the River Institute. A double graduate of St. Lawrence College (Microcomputer Electronics & Environmental Sciences) also holds a PMP designation. He is the OACETT Councillor for the Eastern Region. Louis’ role as Program Leader is to oversee all operational aspects of Applied Research and Technical Services at the River Institute. Specifically, over the past five years, he has worked closely with Ontario breweries to identify the current analytical needs and, through their ISO 17025 laboratory, has developed specific brewery analytical service offerings. In addition, RiverLabs can leverage the in-house expertise of the River Institute to address most concerns in terms of water management as water is the focus area for the River Institute.

On a personal note, Louis has been an avid homebrewer for over 7 years and has concocted well over 50 unique recipes….a few medal winners.
