Event description

Welcome to the 15th Annual Regent Park Film Festival! We are Toronto’s only free community film festival. The works we present break stereotypes and show that no one place or person has just one story.

Seats fill up quickly, so we recommend you reserve your seats as soon as possible. All programs are completely free.

Home made Visible: Regent Park - We invite past and present residents of Regent Park to share their memories of the community through oral storytelling, photographs and home movie video clips.

Live Script Lab - Six rising writers share the pilot episodes of their developing web series

Emancipaction - A program dedicated to the work of Indigenous, Queer, Muslim and Black musicans and video artists that demonstrate the exciting new aesthetic of emancipation in contemporary music.

Mixer - Teamwork makes the dream work! Come make connections, meet future teammates, colleagues, and friends. Grab a drink, connect and build community!

VIRTUAL SPACE - An on ongoing interactive space featuring web-based projects, virtual reality (VR) and digital installations. No reservation required, open to the public 4 PM - 8PM on weedays and 11:00AM - 6:00PM on Nov 18th.

In addition to the Annual Film Festival and Under the Stars: Movies in the Park, we host year-round film screenings, school programs and workshops at no cost. Learn more here.

All our programming at the Regent Park Film Festival is absolutely free to attend, and we’re working hard to keep it that way. Help us make it possible again this year by becoming a member at the Lights, Camera or Action Level.
