1st Annual Trivia Night Drop-in Fundraiser - St. James Cathedral

Make it a fun evening with friends, family or colleagues at the 1st Annual 'Food for Thought' Trivia Night Fundraiser. Great prizes & trophy for the winners; intermission entertainment, a 50/50 draw and, dinner and drinks for purchase. It will make for a great evening while helping to provide a weekly full meal, a safe and warm place to meet with friends and much needed foot care for our neighbors in need.

Your host for the evening will be CBC reporter Chris Glover.

From King Station. Take King East northside exit. Head east on King to Church St. Cross Church St. Turn left (north on Church). The Cathedral Centre is the building behind the Cathedral. Please use the side (south) entrance.

Put a team together and reserve your own table for this fun event. A Team Table Ticket is $200 (plus fees) and is good for a maximum of 8 players. Team Tables will be acknowledged during the event.

About the St. James Cathedral Drop-in

Funds raised at this event will go toward supporting the St. James Cathedral Friday afternoon Drop-in program. Now in its 30th year, the Cathedral's Friday afternoon program provides a safe and warm place for members of our community who are experiencing food insecurity to have a hot meal and socialize with friends. We serve over 5,000 meals each year. The Drop-in also subsidizes a FoodShare/Good Food Box program and, in association with other community partners, a much needed Foot Care Clinic. Our chiropodist completed more than 1,600 appointments last year alone.

Your Host for this evening is Chris Glover. For more than 15 years, Chris has been an anchor, reporter and producer with CBC News. He has received multiple awards and nominations, including a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Local Reporter. Chris routinely hosts CBC TV and radio at the local and national level. He has spearheaded multiple national investigations for CBC News, including examining Canada's unregulated surrogacy industry. Chris also loves political coverage and has hosted multiple election night specials for CBC News. During his latest deployment as a correspondent in Washington DC, he reported from the steps of the US Supreme Court on the day Roe v Wade was overturned.
