2019 Cannabis Science Symposium
"Cannabis and harm reduction: What we know and what we need to learn"
UBC's Canopy Growth Professor of Cannabis Science is bringing together patients and other people with lived experience with researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to discuss and establish a research agenda for cannabis as harm reduction. Please join us on Monday, November 25, 2019 in-person at UBC Robson Square or online via webcast for this half-day symposium. See below for details.
Program:
8:00 am - Registration opens
8:30 am - Program starts (opening remarks and keynote presentation)
9:00 am to 1:30 pm - Sessions (includes moderator presentation, panel discussion, and Q&A)
- Session 1: Cannabis and the Overdose Response
- Session 2: Clinical Considerations
- Session 3: Lessions from Lived Experience with Cannabis Use
- Session 4: Clinical Trials in Cannabis
1:30 pm - Symposium concludes; light lunch offered

What's the refund policy?
This event is free to attend.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
If you are attending and bringing an additional guest, please submit a new registration for your guest with their name and email. However, if you are no longer able to attend, to keep the check-in process in the morning as smooth as possible, we kindly ask that you cancel your original registration. Then, your colleague or associate who is able to attend in your place can submit a new registration with their name and information.
