About this event

Welcome to the CRDA Annual Conference!

    Date: June 14, 2024

    Location: North York Civic Centre

Thousands of people, in as many situations, have evaded crisis as a result of the work of Furthering Our Communities by Uniting Services (FOCUS) Toronto and the City of Toronto's Specialized Program for Interdivisional Enhanced Responsiveness to Vulnerability (SPIDER).

Each week across the City, Collaborative Risk Driven Interventions are mobilized to make the aforementioned possible. We want to bring you all together!

    What to expect:

    • Statistical updates on FOCUS and SPIDER - Year over year statistical trends and analysis.
    • Toronto Community Crisis Service Update - Attendees will hear about the status of the program and about its expansion.
    • Understanding Policing and Social Work Approaches - A discussion designed to build understanding of these sectors in an effort to enhance collaboration and intervention efficacy.
    • Scarborough Rapid Evaluation Report - Learn about the potential causes of and recommendations related to the spike of mental health risks in the Scarborough area related to youth ages 12-29 years old.
    • Refugee Crisis Update - Learn about work being done to address the refugee crisis.
