Aggie Days Mountain View 2024 Farm Safety Poster

The guidelines and rules are as follows:

• This contest is open to all children ages 5-12 (as of contest deadline).

• Final poster must be completed on an 8 ½” (wide) by 11” (high) page and must depict the theme “Farm Safety”.

Each poster entry must be accompanied by a copy of the Aggie Days Mountain View 2024 Farm Safety Poster Contest Entry Form with signed Parental Authorization completed (see image below, register to have entry form emailed to you)

Artwork to be labeled on the back with:

1. Contestant name, age (as of contest deadline)

2. Contestant phone number & address

3. School name or Home Education School Authority name if applicable

The original artwork and entry form must be dropped off (or mailed) to: Mountain View County’s Office 10-1408 Twp Rd 320 (Bag 100, Didsbury, AB T0M 0W0). If mailed a “DO NOT FOLD” label should be added to the envelope. Artwork must be received by 4:00 p.m. on May 10, 2023.

• Artwork must be entirely the student's original work and completed independently. Teamwork will not be considered. No photo artwork will be accepted.

• Submitted artwork will be displayed May 24 & 25 during Aggie Days Mountain View 2024 in Carstairs, AB. and will become the property of Aggie Days Mountain View and contest sponsor FortisAlberta and may be exhibited or published in Alberta after the contest. No artwork will be returned.

• Decisions of the contest judges are final, and no substitutions will be available.

• School awards are not applicable to Calgary or Edmonton Schools and Home education contestants that are not supervised by a school authority.

• Winners will be contacted, and entries displayed at Aggie Days Mountain View 2024, May 24 & 25 in Carstairs, AB.

• For questions call Mountain View County at 403-335-3311 or hard copies of the entry form are available to be picked up at the Mountain View County Office.

Winning Contestants will be selected in the following Categories:

A - 5 to 6 yrs

B - 7 to 8 yrs

C - 9 to 10 yrs

D - 11 to 12 yrs

Prizes will be awarded for each category noted above:

1st Place - $75

2nd Place - $50

3rd Place - $25

The school or school authority of the 1st Place Winners (Categories B, C & D) will receive $500 from our generous sponsor FortisAlberta.
