This program is an introductory, multi-disciplinary education opportunity for all health care providers and volunteers who have an interest in developing capacity related to hospice palliative care. Our interactive case-based approach consists of 3 facilitated live virtual learning sessions (3 hours each), one reflective activity, two peer-to-peer exchanges, reading requirements, and completion of eleven e-learning modules. The live virtual learning sessions are NOT webinars and learners are expected to participate.
Accessing Online Course Materials
The course materials are now accessible online on the Partnering for Palliative Education platform through D2L's Brightspace Learning Environment. This is where you will find your reading material, e-learning modules and other course materials and information. You will receive a welcome email one to two weeks prior to course start date showing next steps in how you will access the D2L Brightspace Platform. If you have not received it, please contact the Admin Assistant immediately at 905-827-8111.
This program is offered for those working in Halton and Peel regions.
You must be able to attend all 3 live virtual in-class sessions from 6pm - 9pm on Mondays:
