The Faculty Development Summer Institute is a four-day institute of talks, activities, and workshops on active learning in higher education for faculty and instructional staff. This year's event will take place May 28 to 31, 2024, where participants will be engaged in discussion groups, hands-on work, and opportunities to solve problems as they consider how they might incorporate more active learning into their classes. This year the FDSI will be held on campus hosted in one of the FSDE Design Studios which offers a fantastic physical setting for active learning. The Teaching and Learning Centre is delighted to coordinate preparations for this event with four faculty from UPEI as the key facilitators. Seats for the FSDI are limited and we'll be delighted to welcome the first 24 registrations.
