The Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST) proudly presents our 5th annual Women in STEM Virtual Career Fair.

Are you actively exploring new job opportunities or seeking insights into leveraging your professional skills in today's dynamic job market? Join us for an enriching full day dedicated to networking with potential employers, receiving career coaching support and engaging in captivating talks led by STEM leaders.

This event is committed to empowering women, the LGBTQ+ community, racialized groups, new immigrants, individuals with disabilities and other under-represented communities to accelerate their career development.

The Women in STEM Virtual Career Fair caters to both early-career professionals in search of internship or employment opportunities and established professionals looking to transition into leadership roles. Participants will have the invaluable opportunity to connect with HR managers, employers and recruiters, and engage with career coaches to further enhance their career paths.

The Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology ( SCWIST) was founded in 1981 as a not-for-profit association aimed at encouraging women into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). SCWIST aims to support and promote the education of girls and women through programs and activities in partnership with the community.

SCWIST has a spectacular record of boosting the numbers, retention and status of women in the workplace by facilitating networking, mentoring and advocating woman-friendly policies.

SCWIST also highlights opportunities, achievements and positive messages for and about women in the field through raising public awareness and guiding policy implementation.

Members include university undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, technicians, technologists, research scientists, professors, engineers, consultants, unemployed and retired women scientists.
