Wed, 26 April 2017, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM MDT
The Women’s Road Cycling Development Program provides a safe and encouraging environment for women to learn and practice basic mechanic, safety, and on bike skills. Over the course of five weeks, the program will teach and train participants in fundamental skills to cycle safely on the road. Each week will build on the skills learned in the previous week with the goal of providing participants with the skills and confidence to register for the first road race held in Calgary on June 3, 2017.
This progam is available to females only.
Cost of the course provides participants with general memebership to Synergy Racing, insurance coverage while participating in the program, basic bike fit, and coaching.
Additionally, general membership allows women to continue to participate in Synergy Racing events once the program has ended.
Week One (April 26): The Basics, Bike Maintenance and Set Up -this week is classroom based learning, participants will ber required to bring their bicycles and will be instructed through a fit, equipment check, and basic maintanence of their bike.
