About this event

People belong to many types of communities, including family, friends & neighbours, culture & spiritual connections, and the resources and services nearby. People's communities can plan an important role in their health. In Alberta, access to healthcare varies across communities.

GOAL: The Cancer Strategic Clinical Network (CSCN) is conducting a study to understand which factors can affect a person's cancer diagnosis. Understanding these factors can help improve access to healthcare resources by helping us find better ways to support people in these communities during their cancer diagnosis.

You are invited to participate in this research study, if:

1. You live in or near Taber.

2. You or a loved one/ friend has had a cancer diagnosis.

If you choose to participate you will be asked to share your thoughts and experiences of health care and within your community in general.

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
