Welcome to the 6th Annual A Glengarry Affair: Local Wine & Food Pairings! Get ready for a delightful day filled with delectable flavors and fantastic company.
Join us on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Stonehouse Vineyard, where we will indulge in the finest local wines and exquisite food pairings. Immerse yourself in an enchanting atmosphere as you savor the unique flavors that our region has to offer. Discover the harmony between locally sourced wines and carefully crafted dishes, expertly curated to tantalize your taste buds.
At A Glengarry Affair, we celebrate the art of pairing wine and food, showcasing the diverse culinary talents of Tim & Chantal McRae from A - Catered-Affair and Stonehouse Vineyard wines. From crisp whites to rich reds, each sip will transport you to the heart of our picturesque vineyards.
Each guest receives a souvenier Stonehouse Vineyard wine glass along with a Tasting Passport. The passport allows the guest to enjoy six different tasting stations. Each tasting station will provide a 2 oz wine sample along with a canapé made to pair with that particular wine. If you have a favourite tasting station, tickets will be available to purchase additional wine and for canapés (while supplies last).
In addition to the wine & food offerings, the following is a schedule of other events tasking place throughout the afternoon:
- Local producer displays and tastings (11am to 5pm)
- Vineyard tour (noon)
- Live music - (2pm to 5pm) - performed by Ryan McGillis
Attendees bust be 19 years of age to receive alcohol tastings. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
This event is an outdoor event, rain or shine, please dress for the weather.
If you wish, you are welcome to bring lawn chairs, or blankets to sit back, relax and enjoy the afternoon.
