The show will go on! Please join us virtually, for the seventh annual Synapse Life Science Competition Pitch Showcase!
The Synapse Competition is Ontario's premier life science pitch competition and is designed to take ideas out of the lab, and into the market.
On March 25th, the Showcase will go on as planned but it will all be online at 4:00 PM EST at www.synapselifescience.com. Network with the finalists live, learn about their emerging life science companies, watch the top three finalists pitch to the judges, meet our partners and even win a prize for participating!
What hasn't changed? Our finalists are competing for their share of $75,000 in cash and in-kind resources, thanks to the support of our partners.
New this year, the Synapse Competition will also award the Praxis Prize of $25,000 to Ontario-based entrepreneurs and researchers working on innovations to improve health outcomes for people with spinal cord injuries. Learn more: synapselifescience.com/praxisprize

What is the Synapse Life Science Competition?
The Synapse Life Science Competition is designed to help move innovative Life Science products and services out of the lab and into the market, by pairing up Life Science Innovators with business and entrepreneurship students.
The competition is separated into four phases. In January each year, the competition teams up life science innovators with business, science, and entrepreneurship students from university college. Together, each team produces a commercialization plan and a pitch for their ventures.
Teams have the chance to win over $60,000 in cash and in-kind resources at the final showcase!
What are the parking options at the event?
The Synapse Life Science Competition takes place at McMaster Innovation Park. McMaster Innovation Park currently has capacity for a total of 500 vehicles on site. All lots are clearly signed regarding permits and rates to ensure clarity for all visitors.
Visitor parking payment is required from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Exact change, Mastercard or Visa, are the payment options. Visitor parking is FREE after 5:00 p.m.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you do not need to bring a printed ticket to the event. When you arrive, simply check in at our registration desk with your name.
