AC Mood Walks are outdoor walks for inner wellness. Walking in nature has been proven to provide health benefits, and AC Mood Walks are an opportunity to explore your community, meet new friends, and walk your way to greater mental and physical wellness! Learn more on the Counselling website.
Mood Walks meet at 1:50pm in the Student Commons Lobby (1st Floor, E Building). Walk will take place between 2pm and 3:30pm (walking time is typically 1 hour, with the remaining time used for transportation as needed).
Mood Walks are open to all students. Drop-in participants are welcome to join if logistics allow, but advance registration is recommended.
Information for Participants
Each walk will take place outdoors in all weather. Come prepared with:
- U-Pass or OC Transpo transit fare (OC Transpo may be used for some routes; fare support may be available if needed)
- Suitable closed-toe shoes
- Appropriate clothing (e.g. warm clothes, raincoats, umbrellas, etc.)
- Water
- Sunscreen
- Light snack, if desired
