About this event

We strongly believe in the power of regular, in-person connections to foster deep business relationships and open doors to new connections. We understand that growing your community is essential to meaningful connections that bring joy, excitement, and fulfillment to both your personal and professional life. Just as people have basic physical needs like food, water, shelter, and clean air, they also have basic psychological needs. We all need to feel a sense of belonging, to be valued, to excel in something, and to have a secure future. The same goes for business professionals and entrepreneurs. They need to know that their business belongs in this vibrant community, that their contributions are respected, and that they have a secure future here. Imagine being part of a business group that not only facilitates great connections, but also addresses these psychological needs for one another and the wider community!

Our meetings last for 1 hour and begin with an introduction where each member shares their business and their recent achievements. We also discuss what we are currently working on and celebrate successes from the past week. Each week, we focus on a different theme.

  • The first week of every month is dedicated to Book Discussion, where we explore a book that supports personal and professional growth. For the second quarter of 2024, our selected book is ‘Atomic Habits’ by James Clear.
  • The second week is dedicated to Workshop Weeks, where members of the Airdrie Regional Chamber of Commerce are able to give a 45 minute workshop for our members and the public. Workshop weeks are $20. If you are interested in presenting a workshop, please connect with Julie Crawford at julie@leaderscan.ca.
  • The third week is our Meeting of the Minds mastermind gathering, where members share their wins and seek assistance in their business with a specific problem or issue. Other members can offer help or provide valuable suggestions for progress.
  • The fourth week is dedicated to Presentation Weeks, where our members present about their business, what makes them unique, and how to help find them referrals.
  • In months with 5 weeks, we take our meetings to local restaurants for a more relaxed and casual networking time.

We meet on Thursday mornings in the Board Room at 102-150 Edwards Way NW, Airdrie, AB, T4B 4B9, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm.

Monthly membership is $29 per month or come visit our group for $12 for most weeks and $20 for the Workshop week.
