No. You must be able to commit to both days in order to attend.

In our Branch Out Workshop Series, we equip Albertans to meet their personal, career and financial goals through leveraging opportunities in the non-traditional workforce. In this workshop series, you learn how to align to the changing needs of employers and growing opportunities in the non-traditional workforce. You learn how to land a job faster, set up an independent career or leverage a portfolio career of multiple income streams by combining part-time jobs, multiple contracts, side hustle gigs or entrepreneurial ventures.

Albertans report that non-traditional work helped them build experience and skills, get their foot in the door of a company, add to their income streams, increase their network, meet their need for a flexible work schedule and test drive their entrepreneurial spirit. Albertans who are skilled at navigating traditional and non-traditional workforce trends also report having better career resiliency and feel they can better maintain income and employment during shifts in the labour market.
