About this event

We offer you an inviting space to find enjoyment in moving your bodies to empowering music. This class is for women of ALL types and a place where you're encouraged to be true to yourselves and show up as you are.

  • The class is composed of 60 minutes of movement (easy to follow dance choreography, body weight, HIIT and yoga) followed by twenty minutes of stretching and savasana.
  • All the moves can be modified to to make them more or less challenging to accommodate various fitness levels and injuries.
  • All you need to bring is a water bottle, yoga mat and comfortable clothes to move in. Barefoot or clean runners are welcome.
  • The music is all individually picked and choreographed for specific movements, lyrics and feelings. 90% of our playlist is composed of female artists with motivating and empowering lyrics to ignite the fire within.
  • No judgment. No expectations. No Pressure.

Frequently asked questions

Will the class run rain or shine?

Yes! Unless it is a torrential downpour, snowing or an air advisory we will be going ahead with class. I love being adaptable to the weather and I tailor my playlists too accommodate various temperatures in order to keep us feeling comfortable.

What should I wear/bring?

Wear clothes that you are comfortable in and bring extra layers in case the weather cools down. You can wear shoes or go barefoot. You may want to bring sunglasses and/or hat if you are sensitive to sun. Bug spray can be useful at various classes when the mosquitos are out.

Are there washrooms?

There are public washrooms nearby at the Confederation splash park and tennis courts.

What should I expect?

You can expect a super welcoming community of women that are ready to move their bodies in a way that feels good to them! The class can easily be modified based on your own intentions, fitness level and/or any injuries. This class is about movement, music and being in the moment.

What if I don't have any dance or fitness experience?

This class is all about embracing ourselves in this wild journey of life. We celebrate the courage it takes to try something new outside of our comfort zone and we encourage not taking ourselves too seriously or striving for perfection! We have easy to follow choreography and a supportive community.

Where should I park?

You can find street parking along Chippendale drive, Chicoutimi Drive. There is also parking in the West Confederation Park lot near the Charleswood tennis courts and the Canmore splash park. Please be courteous if parking in front of houses on the streets.
